Augmented Images Augmented reality can be animation, video, sound and text, viewable through mobile devices camera with an “AR” app which overlays the digital content on the ‘reality’ being seen through the camera. This is a different viewing context-with many applications, limitations & possibilities. Point your phone camera at this QR code which will take you to the download page for the totally free Augmented Reality App "Artivive" .Install the app(approx 60 seconds), then view the above pictures one at at time using your free new Artivive app- a little loading symbol will appear and the video and sound should begin playing shortly. Move your camera around to zoom in or change your viewing angle on the short film. Digital content to be viewed on mobile devices on site can be linked via an on site image/symbol or even gps location.Can you think of a use for this sort of technology.. eg. signage or geographical features that links to extra language, artistic and scientific information or inspiration?
